When I was taking these photos I attempted to capture the intricacy of the rails on the stairs. I succeeded with this in the first picture (Webs) but in the second I strayed away from that intricacy and more toward the simplicity of the colors in the stairway. The hardest part about this is finding a good angle to take the pictures since I'm not the tallest person so I had to use other angles that I could take. Most of these angles were ground angles that weren't too interesting but in the first photo I was able to see over the rail and take a picture of the area between the areas. These photos were taken at Skyline High School inside of the school.
In these photos I attempted to show how buildings can look like multiple different things. This can happen by using a variety of angles, shades, and shapes. For example in Cube Corner you can see both a cube and the inside of a corner with a red background. In Sticks and Stones it just looks a bit like an icy river but it's just a wall with stones on it. These photos were taken at Forsythe Middle School where I used to go in middle school.
In these pictures I again attempted to show the intricacy of the buildings while also getting the beauty of of the colors displayed. In the first picture it was really hard to get that intricacy out of the ferris wheel because it was so far away. On top of that, it was also dark outside when I took these pictures so that made some of the bars darker. You can see this in the right half of the ferris wheel in the first picture. In the second photo I attempted to capture the vibrant colors of the red ferris wheel with the moon adding to that color. I feel that I did this well because the photo looks pleasing to the eye.
In these photos I attempted to capture the blurry, cold feeling of Winter in Chicago. In a place right next to the Great Lakes Winters can get pretty chilly. I succeeded with this in the second picture where I got the snow and the sort of foggy look that you associate with being cold. Even though I did well with that since there's trees everywhere in the city it was nearly impossible to take a picture without it having trees. In the first picture I did well to avoid that and still got the foggy feeling the best I could with the blueprint effect.
In these photos I attempted to capture the texture and evoke a feeling of curiosity. These pictures were taken near my house in a little area where there are tons of shops. This building was actually a counseling building where people get therapy and stuff like that. In my first picture I succeeded with capturing that sense of curiosity. In the second photo it was a bit harder because the wall would always be blurry at the wrong points.
